IMS Autoclave Monitor Tapes are used in steam sterilizers at 250–€"285°F or 121–€"141°C. These tapes are durable and contain chemical indicators that show whether cassettes have been processed or not.

Each roll is 19 mm wide and 60 yards long. These monitor tapes are Type 1 chemical indicators and allow the operators to see that the indicator will change to dark brown or black after sterilization, providing accurate results.
