SafeGauze® HemoStat™ topical hemostatic dressing is 100% natural and dissolvable. It is designed to control bleeding after extractions, periodontal surgery, and other procedures, without the need for sutures.

This hemostatic dressing absorbs fluids from the oral mucosa and quickly transforms into a clear, viscous gel for easy placement. Creating a gelatinous "plug" that adheres to the wound, it forms a tight seal that closes off blood vessels to control bleeding and start the healing process. The gelatinous plug will gradually dissolve in saline.
